This
block, fully developed with historic buildings from the late 1800s with the
exception of one small parking lot, will hopefully achieve 100% developed
status soon. The non-profit organization, Progressnow.org, recently
purchased and renovated the building immediately to the east of the vacant
parcel and named the facility the Alliance Center, with hopes to construct a
new building on the parking lot as a Phase 2. This block is also home
to the Tattered Cover - LoDo bookstore and represents one of Lower
Downtown's finest intact blocks of late 19th-century commercial
architecture. |
